Comedian and actress Tiffany Haddish took to her Instagram account to share a photo of the outfit she chose for the 2018 Tony Awards.
In the photo, Haddishwas shown wearing a shiny silver and black jumpsuit that had a floral and leaf-like design all over it. The aspects that attracted more attention about her outfit was that its long sleeves were form-fitted, but the boots of the pants were loose.
As for the accessories, Haddish chose a ring for each hand and long earrings. The final chic touch was given with her small clutch, which was also silver, and her simple yet beautiful makeup.
In the caption, the actress revealed that she was going to the Tony Awards with her ‘new friend’ Michael Kors, who was the designer of her outfit. Apart from that, she tagged her hairstylist Oscar James, makeup artist Dionne Wynn, and stylist Law Roach.
Hours later, she uploaded another photo from the Radio City Music Hall in New York City, the place where the ceremony was held, next to Kors. For that image, she commented that the Tony Awards was her new favorite event.
Her appearance at the event came only weeks after it was reported by TMZ that Haddish’s ex-husband, William Stewart, filed a lawsuit claiming that she made him look like a monster in her most recent biography titled The Last Black Unicorn.
In one of the chapters of the book, titled The Ex-Husband, Haddish claimed that Stewart used to choke, kidnap, and stalk her during their 5-year-long marriage and that he was the reason why she lost her child while pregnant.
Nevertheless, Stewart defended himself in the lawsuit admitting that Haddish herself went to the to the doctor to have an abortion.
Another thing that he said was that they were only married from 2008 until 2013, while Haddish wrote in her bio that they married and divorced twice.
TMZ finally reported that Stewart was allegedly suing for libel, slander, and defamation and that he was asking for damages in excess of $1,000,000.
