Jamie Lee Curtis is a proud mother of two daughters, one of whom recently got married in one of the most unique wedding ceremonies the world has ever seen. Here are a few details to note about her daughters.

Jamie Lee Curtis's youngest daughter Ruby married her partner Kynthia in May. But unlike most weddings where the attendees are dressed formally, her ceremony had a slight twist that saw Curtis turn up with a huge knife.

The proud Curtis shared a bunch of photos from the event via her Instagram feed, including one that captured her posing between the newlyweds.

They all looked happy and were dressed in intricately elaborate outfits. Curtis officiated the ceremony and was almost as delighted as the two lovebirds she bound in holy matrimony.

JAMIE LEE CURTIS'S TWO DAUGHTERS

Curtis shares two children, Annie Guest and Ruby Guest, with her husband, American-British screenwriter and actor Christopher Guest. The couple has one of the longest marriages in Hollywood history since they have been married for almost four decades.

Curtis'S two daughters were both adopted, with Annie coming first in December 1986, while Ruby joined the family in 1996, right after she was born.

Speaking about her first adoption, the talented actress called it "the most profound" experience she had ever had in her life.

JAMIE LEE CURTIS REVEALS HER YOUNGEST DAUGHTER IS TRANSGENDER

In 2021, Curtis revealed to the world that her youngest child with Christopher Guest, has transitioned from male to female and revealed her new name.

Before her transition, she was named Thomas, but after a successful metamorphosis, her name was changed to Ruby.

According to PEOPLE, Ruby was too intimidated to tell her parents to their face and had shared the confession via a text, after which her mom immediately called her. It was teary aftermath, but Curtis and her husband were welcoming.

Ruby is a computer gaming editor, and her parents are proud of the woman she has become. Speaking about the transition process, Curtis said that she and her husband watched the whole thing go down in wonder and pride.

Curtis has in the past shown her support for trans people, but it was not until her son came out as one that she completely tossed out the "old idea" that gender is fixed and is instead leaning into the idea that life is a "constant metamorphosis."

JAMIE LEE CURTIS'S DAUGHTER'S COSPLAY WEDDING

Ruby tied the knot with her partner Kynthia back in May, and those that attended the event will most likely never forget how much fun they had. They pulled up dressed in whatever costume they could put together.

Many of the pictures Curtis shared on her Instagram feed perfectly captured the fun and romantic atmosphere of the ceremony.

One captured the two lovebirds, dressed in intricate costumes, hugging it out before a cheering crowd, and the excitement was reflected in her caption. It read:

"YES THEY DO AND DID! MARRIED!"

The ceremony was held in their backyard, the same place Curtis' older daughter tied the knot three years before. The actress was also dressed in a costume that she complemented with a huge knife used to cut the wedding cake.
