In the Season 4 finale, Nic, who plays a nurse practitioner, gave birth to her and Conrad’s (Matt Czuchry) first child, a baby girl named Georgina Grace Hawkins, after both of their late mothers.
Despite her successful labor, Nic's pregnancy was traumatic as she was stabbed by a man who the hospital had turned away because it was closed. The finale closed off with a montage of touching moments and milestones reflecting the pair's relationship.
THE TEASER
VanCamp, 35, has starred in the series since its premiere in 2018, and as for how she will exit the popular show, the first teaser for the upcoming season hinted that it might not be good news for the fans of the couple.
The video showed two police officers arrive at Conrad's door as he answers alone, holding his baby with a worrisome look on his face. The Season 5 clip foreshadowed:
“If you thought last season changed everything, just wait.”
In May, executive producer Peter Ekloff told TV Insider that “the plan was to have the entire cast return for the fifth season. Ekloff did not reveal any further details.
However, he teased, “I will tell you that when our audience finishes the first episode, they will be shocked by a couple of changes that have occurred.”
PERSONAL EXCITING NEWS
In addition, Nic is not featured in the poster for the new season. Season 5 of the series will debut on September 21 and was renewed for the new season earlier this year.
On a more personal level, VanCamp recently revealed on social media that she secretly welcomed her first child with former “Revenge” co-star turned husband Josh Bowman and shared their little girl is named Iris.
