A little girl was filling a hole after burying her goldfish, but things took an interesting turn when her curious neighbor discovered that there was more than just a goldfish buried in the hole.

One day, a little girl named Nancy was filling a hole in the garden when her curious neighbor suddenly got interested in what she was doing.

Peeping over the relatively low fence, Nancy's neighbor politely asked what the young girl was doing. With tears in her eyes, Nancy told her neighbor that her goldfish had died, and she had just buried him.

She continued filling the hole while her neighbor, feeling sympathetic, expressed how sorry he was to hear the sad news but was a bit confused because that was a pretty big hole for a goldfish. Without looking up, Nancy responded: "That's because he's inside your cat."
