plans on walking down the aisle. However, the novel coronavirus pandemic could have the last say on when Amy ties the knot.
Much of the year was shaped according to the health needs caused by the novel coronavirus turned pandemic. People remained in quarantine for as long as regulations required, but the consequences are still playing out, as Zach recently shared.
TAKING LONGER THAN EXPECTED
Zach is one of four children Amy shares with her ex-husband Matt, in addition to younger siblings Jeremy, Molly, and Jacob. During a recent chat with Us Weekly, Zach said that his mom's second wedding might have to "hold for a second."
Amy became engaged to Chris Marek in September last year, and the couple systematically took steps towards a joint future since. The Roloff matriarch moved off the family farm and into a new house Marek helped fix up a bit, but the pandemic might have the final say on when they can marry.
Zach told the publication that even though they wanted to have their wedding to be next summer, finding a venue seems to be an issue since they could find one accepting dates at the moment and added:
“But I think it’s, yeah, I think all that’s on hold for a second.”
ELOPING IS NOT LIKELY
Even though one might think that Amy and Chris would be tempted to elope, the reality star assured that it's not likely to happen since she wants to have the full wedding experience with her future husband, as Amy previously said:
“I’m much more of a traditional person … I want the wedding and the reception. I would like to share that experience with [Chris].”
AMY'S RETURN TO THE ROLOFF FARMS
The reality star may have moved off the property, but she didn't move away from the family business, as Amy recently updated fans on upcoming events taking place on the farm.
Towards the end of September, Amy shared in her update on social media that she will be partaking in the annual pumpkin season celebrated on the farm despite the rocky terrain her relationship is currently on with ex-husband Matt.

In updates Amy Roloff shared since being back on the family farm, she appears in high spirits alongside her future husband, and she even showcased a marvelous myriad of colorful costumes.
Posing for the camera wearing creativity and sunshine, Amy Roloff's first week on the family farm in celebration of pumpkin season went well. Actually, the matriarch found it rather "wonderful."
