Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa took it back to pre-quarantine days in a throwback photo over the weekend. In the heartwarming shot, Seacrest sported a fashion-forward trend.
Today, oversized sunglasses are all the rage. But back in the day, it didn't quite work on Ryan Seacrest. On Saturday, he shared a photo to show proof of how far he has come.
"Back when oversized sunglasses were a trend that I couldn't pull off," wrote the "American Idol" host in the caption. The post, which features "Live" co-host Kelly Ripa, is found below.

RYAN LEANS ON KELLY IN THROWBACK
In the sweet throwback picture, Seacrest wore a buttoned-down dark shirt and large aviator glasses as he held his mouth slightly open. He rested one hand on Ripa's shoulder.
The blonde-bobbed beauty wore a white and green wrap-around dress with a long necklace. She smiled for the camera. Behind the pair were some white and green tents and a camera.
Seacrest didn't specify when the picture was taken. Since then, though, the coronavirus has forced Seacrest and Ripa to film their show, "Live with Kelly and Ryan," from their houses.
FANS MISS SEEING THE TWO TOGETHER
In the comment section, fans were thrilled to see the cute pair. "Looks like the fly!" one person joked about Seacrest's sunglasses. "You can still rock them!" another encouraged.

Many others said they miss seeing the duo together. Ripa and Seacrest have been working together since 2017. They quickly became best friends to the point where Ripa once told People, "We have telepathy."
When traveling, the actress revealed that she allows Seacrest to enter her home and run errands. He has a key. Seacrest is also close to Ripa's kids Michael, Joaquin, and Lola.
RIPA JOKES ABOUT RYAN'S DAD'S LEGS
Likewise, Ripa seems to have a good dynamic with Seacrest's family. On Father's Day this year, the actress made a joke underneath Seacrest's post featuring his father.
It showed the father-daughter duo back in the day standing in front of their garage. Ripa commented, "Honestly, Gary's legs never cease to impress." The older man and his son both wore shorts in the photo.
KELLY AND RYAN REMEMBER THEIR PROMS
Earlier this month, the pair again took things back by sharing old prom photos ahead of a remote prom celebration they would do on the show. For Ripa, her prom was marked by big, curly hair.
The talk show host revealed that she used spongy rollers to make the curls pop. However, she accidentally use 7 Up, the carbonated drink, while styling. She found out the hard way that 7 Up has a lot of hold.

As for Seacrest, the most significant part of his prom night was when the limo that he helped pay for with $25 got stuck in a parking lot because of its size. After about 30 minutes, it got out, and Seacrest enjoyed his prom.
