The American action medical crime drama series "Diagnosis Murder" starred the likes of Dick Van Dyke and Barry Van Dyke. The show left a lasting impression on viewers.
The show follows Dr. Mark Sloan, a medical doctor who solves crimes. He is assisted by his son Steve who is a homicide detective.
Steve is played by Van Dyke's real-life son Barry. The show ran for a whopping 178 episodes and five TV movies from 1993 to 2002. Here is a look at the actors from the show and where they are now.

Dick Van Dyke famously played a villain in the 1990's "Dick Tracy." He went on to land the role of Sloan in "Diagnosis Murder."
At the time he was already a well-known figure in the industry with roles in "The Dick Van Dyke Show," "Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang." He has continued to act and has appeared in "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," "Murder 101," "The Middle" and "Scrubs."

"Diagnosis: Murder" was the show that defined
's career. It is, to date, the biggest production the star has acted in.
He has four children Carey, Shane, Wes, and Taryn who had acted in short roles in the show throughout its run. After the show, Barry went on to land a role in the "Murder 101" TV series.

Before playing Dr. Bentley, Victoria played the iconic role of Drucilla in the daytime soap "The Young and the Restless." She even managed to appear on both shows simultaneously in the 1990s. She played the role of Drucilla until 2007.
Unfortunately, she left the show after she called the show racist due to the lack of diversity in the cast and crew. She also acted in "Dumb & Dumber," "Law & Order: SVU" and "Home of the Brave" and received an honorary Doctorate by the University of Southern Maine in 2006 for her work with foster children charities.

Scott started out in Hollywood as a child actor as Chachi in "Happy Days" and its spinoff "Joanie Loves Chachi." He went on to land the role of Dr Jack in "Diagnosis Murder."
Since then he has appeared in a number of other films and series but none have matched the standard of his early career. He made appearances in "Veronica's Closet," "Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2," and the sitcom "See Dad Run."

Charlie Schlatter entered after Scott Baio departed from the show. Before the series, he was known for the 1988 comedy "18 Again!," as well as the 1990 sitcom "Ferris Bueller attempt," and "The Delinquents."
He went on to focus on voice acting and was originally cast as Fry in "Futurama" but the role was eventually passed on to Billy West. He has done voice work for shows and games, including Griff in "Sonic the Hedgehog," The Flash in "Superman," Major Raikov in "Metal Gear Solid 3," and Robin in various Lego games.
Michael Tucci (Norman Briggs)

Michael shot to fame as T-Bird Sonny in "Grease." He went on to act in various roles in the 1980s, before landing his second biggest role as hospital administrator Norman in "Diagnosis Murder."
After the show, he only acted in a few other shows and films. One of his more recent appearances included 2013's "The Heat" starring Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock. He later decided to change careers and currently teaches arts and theatre at St Francis High School in California.
