Steve Harvey Allegedly Left His Staff out to Dry after Show Cancellation

Steve Harvey is ungrateful according to his former staff who painted a sour picture of the talk show host's behavior after the cancellation of his show. "Steve couldn't care less," the source said.

Steve Harvey made a name for himself entertaining others with his unique brand of humor. However, a recent interview with his former staff revealed a different side to the talk show host.

"THE KING OF UNGRATEFUL"

In the heels of the cancelation of Harvey’s daytime show, “Steve,” the star has been labeled ungrateful by a member of his show. According to Rob Shuter of the podcast, “Straight Shuter,” he got wind from an insider that Harvey abandoned his staff right after his last episode was taped.

"...with Steve it’s out-of-site, out-of-mind. He will be blaming them for getting bumped.”

"Steve couldn’t care less… He isn’t worried that all these people can’t pay their rent.”

“Steve is the King of being not grateful. He filmed his last show on Thursday and by Friday he had already moved on,” the source said. There was no effort to say goodbye or even treat his staff and crew to a decent thank you meal. He was too cheap for that, according to the insider.

“After a show gets canceled its usual for the host to take the crew and producers out to say thank you and goodbye. However, with Steve it’s out-of-site, out-of-mind. He will be blaming them for getting bumped.”

"COULDN'T CARE LESS"

To make matters worse, Harvey, who the source also claims didn’t know the names of a lot of his staff members, had no concern for their future after the show. He wasn’t returning any of their calls and messages.

“Everyone is fired and looking for new jobs. Steve couldn’t care less… He isn’t worried that all these people can’t pay their rent.”

THE REASON HIS SHOW WAS CANCELED

One of the reasons Harvey’s show got canceled, according to the source was his thriftiness. He wouldn’t pay to get A-Listers as guests. Of course, this was not the reason Harvey told the public. He said he was being replaced by Kelly Clarkson whose upcoming talk show will be taking over the 62-year-old’s time slot.

He faced another setback when he was replaced as host of his other show, “Little Big Shots.” Melissa McCarthy was hired to take over.

A ROUGH PERIOD

Harvey was blindsided by NBC’s decision to pull the plug on his show which ran its course for seven years. Problems between the network and Harvey’s production partner, IMG Original Content reportedly led to its demise.

It’s been a rough period for the seasoned comedian and we can understand if he’s gone into seclusion to exhale. His staff though had as much to lose as him, and all they want is a proper goodbye. Harvey has yet to comment on this latest controversy. It’s our hope that it’s not the end of his relationship with the people who stood by him and his show for years.
